Zonia was not fully planned, as we already had Azta and Mailiz who are still young. But Lilly's sister, Mika would have her last fun with Gabe, an exciting and nice male. So Nettan struck a new flock member and we do not regret it. She is a bit of a dog in many ways but she is also incredibly smart and fun to train. 

Zonia is a butterfly species (I like butterflies!) And the name Sonja is a Russian name, a caress form of Sofia, which is of Greek origin and comes from the word sopheía which means 'wisdom', 'wisdom' or 'the wise'. In agility training, she is, as the name suggests, extremely smart and wise. Zonia is also a Muslim name and means dragon.
